A lightweight shopping list app for light shoppers, like me.

I built this app to do exactly what I needed, and I use it almost every day, because I can never plan very far ahead.

It doesn't do coupons, bar codes, GPS, sync, share with friends, send email, tweet, etc - I don't need any of that stuff.

I add each item only once - and select it anytime afterwards to remember to buy. Eventually everything I shop for will be in the main list, only a scroll/search away.

There's a simple checklist screen to use when I'm shopping.

Basketeer does a little more - I can create "tags" that help me figure out what I need. For me this is Basketeer's killer feature - I know that sounds silly at first.

For example - I'll create a tag "Burgers", and tag all items I need for Burgers. Then when I'm looking at those tagged items, I don't stupidly forget to buy rolls.

Another example would be a "Dinner" tag, to help me figure out what to eat tonight. "Burgers", along with other tags, would be tagged with "Dinner".

Nothing wrong with a "Desserts" tag - I have that also.
